Trump Description
This Cabernet was left to mature on the vine until reaching peak maturity and was then hand harvested, hand sorted, and underwent a cold maceration for 5 days before fermentation. Extended skin contact rounds out the palate and integrates the rich tannins to seamless perfection. It was then aged in French oak for 9 months prior to bottling. After frost in April led to a reduced yield, a mild summer and a warm, dry August and September resulted in wines with a great depth of flavor and structure for aging. Rich and textured with a depth of complexity. It boasts flavors of ripe plums, black fruits, and espresso, with silky tannins and a balanced structure.
