Among the first to see the potential for growing world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay along the fog-shrouded Pacific Ocean, we have refined our understanding of our estate properties with each passing vintage. Sometimes referred to as the “far” Sonoma Coast, our rugged, windswept vineyards represent extreme viticulture in the pursuit of crafting wines representative of time and place.
Intense and fresh aromas of citrus and white flower are balanced with pure fruit flavors and chalky texture. Delicate oak notes are combined with a persistent acidity, minty graphite in the palate, leading to a refined, long and juicy finish. Cool coastal influence abounds in this Chardonnay, brimming with fresh energy. Perfumed citrus swirls with pear, crushed almond, and an earthy, wet-stone minerality expressing the region's savory appeal. Juicy citrus on the palate gives way to complex layers of white stone fruit and herbs, while a backbone of vivid acidity carries the wine through a beautifully textured finish.
